Just found out that Green Gospel was named First Runner Up in the General Fiction category of the 2012 Eric Hoffer Awards! It’s really an honor, especially given that the winner was fellow North Carolinian Val Nieman and her amazing novel, Blood Clay. Here’s the link.

James Stephen Behrens’ PORTRAITS OF GRACE has won the 2007 Catholic Press Association Award for Production and Design. Although I was editor on this project, all the credit goes to Father James and the designer, the unparalleled Patricia Lynch.
